1. Who We Are

Cell Planner is provided by a company registered in Ohio, United States, doing business as Cell Planner.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Cell Planner Desktop. Third-party services follow their own policies.

3. Data We Collect

• Account data: email address and authentication credentials (password processing is handled by Supabase Auth).
• Workspace data: content you create and choose to sync, such as text, task records, notes, and images.
• Subscription metadata: Stripe customer/subscription IDs, status, plan identifiers, and billing period end.
• Promotion fulfillment data: shipping name/address/phone when needed for annual gift delivery via Stripe/email.
• Functional local data: language and app preference settings.

4. No Behavioral Ads/Attribution Tracking

We do not run behavioral advertising, ad attribution, or profiling analytics tracking.

5. How We Use Data

• Provide account login, cloud sync, and core app features.
• Handle subscriptions, renewals, billing management, and related support.
• Provide customer support and handle legal/security requests.
• Send essential service notices such as billing and security messages.

6. Service Providers and Sharing

• Supabase for authentication, database, and storage.
• Stripe as the exclusive payment processor for checkout and billing portal.

We do not sell personal information.

7. Processing Location

Your information is primarily processed in the United States. When necessary to provide the service, certain processing by third-party providers may involve cross-border transfer.

8. Retention and Deletion

• Account and cloud data are retained while your account is active unless earlier deletion is requested.
• When you delete your account, associated cloud account/app data is deleted in our systems, subject to technical and legal constraints.
• Billing records may be retained as required by law, accounting, fraud prevention, and processor obligations.
• Local backups described on the Data Safety page are local-device backups under your device control.

9. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data. We aim to respond within 30 days.

10. Children

Cell Planner is not directed to children under 13. If we learn data was collected in violation of law, we will delete it.

11. Medical and Sensitive Data Notice

Cell Planner is a research workflow tool and not a HIPAA-regulated medical record service. Do not upload protected health information (PHI) or other regulated medical records unless you have independently ensured lawful use.

12. Security Incident Response

• Investigate and contain suspected incidents promptly.
• Assess affected data scope and risk.
• Notify affected users and relevant authorities without undue delay where required by law.
• Provide recommended remediation steps when appropriate.

13. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are announced on our website, and the Last Updated date is revised.
